The 37th Jeju Canola Flower Festival (Apr. 4 to Apr. 7)

Spring is always a time of new life and new hope, and Jeju’s spring is something special with its iconic images of trees and flowers, like cherry, canola, and buckwheat flower, blooming across the Island.
The 37th Jeju Canola Flower Festival, one of the most famous spring festivals in Jeju, will be held in April for four days from the 4th until the 7th at Gasi-ri village, Seogwipo city.
Gasi-ri village is one of areas in Jeju with the largest volumes of canola flowers, and the town housed state-operated horse farms during the Joseon Dynasty. That is why you can enjoy 20km-long and 5km-short trekking courses which offer a unique beauty along with the canola fields.

There will be plenty of activities taking place throughout the festival that showcase the unique spirit of Jeju Island.
The program includes many experiences, from canola flower crown making, canola flower food contest, horse riding and horse feeding, another traditional activity from Jeju. Depending on the day, there will also be different performances such as singing and performances by local artists.

Furthermore, you can also try a lot of different food products from local farmers and producers, such as honey, sauces, vegetables and snacks at a flea market. A great opportunity to purchase some healthy and unique products from Jeju.
