Where to Stay

Gotta get a comfy night's sleep before you take on that hike tomorrow!

Pippi's Small Cottage in Mulsonangbat

Room Views
From the Host

Please do not go through Jeju Island like you are going on a war to conquer something, haha. If you walked for a while, stop and take in your surroundings. Feel and enjoy the freedom while you are traveling. You won’t remember much if you just rent a car and go visit like 10 different places a day. Choose 2 to 3 places a day and take your time to look around those places. That is truly the way to look around beautiful Jeju instead of conquering all the Olles and visiting all the popular sites.

A Peaceful Retreat to Relax and Recharge

Pippi's Small Cottage is just as you'd imagine; your own cosy little home which offers both comfort and privacy. Situated on the host's property, you can enjoy a quiet stay with the privacy you crave, while the host is still near enough to help you with any inquiries. Otherwise, you have the place to yourself and being in a residential area, it's also quiet. The cottage has a kitchen with everything you need to prepare a meal, a bathroom with washing machine, large bedroom and sitting room. If you are looking to save a little money, cooking your own meals is the best way. The kitchen has everything you need. All you need to do is pick up some groceries. If you want a night off from cooking, definitely try the Korean fried chicken from the menu on the side of the fridge. Your host would be happy to help you place an order.

Beyond the comfort of your cottage, the beach is just minutes away. On your way, you can see Hallasan mountain in the distance, a magnificent site if happen to be here when it is blanketed in snow. As the location is some distance from Seogwipo City, you can enjoy many magical sites without the tourist throngs, including hiking up an oreum, a volcanic beach front and terrific places to swim, as well as pretty tangerine farms and Jeju's historic seaside fortress stone walls, called Hwanhaejangseong. Pippi's Small Cottage is indeed an ideal place to base yourself as you explore what the beautiful Western region has to offer. And with all that activity, you will truly appreciate returning each day to your cosy little home.

It's cosy, and convenient, and if you love your peace and quiet, you can avoid the parties and unavoidable socializing of some other accommodations.

Host's Favorite Attraction: Leisurly Walk to the Coastline

Please head out for the short walk to the coastline. Just the sound of sea crashing against black, basaltic lava rock made an immediate impression. Moving along the shoreline, a small rock pool, a lighthouse, little islands in the distance, dog walkers, scuba divers inspecting their gear, a photography club setting up in hopes of another grand sunset.

   Free Tangerine picking (in winter)

You can join the tangerine harvest for free, owing to the eco-friendly tangerine farm belonging to the House. Half an hour's labor typically yields about 10kg of tangerines, and all you pick are yours to keep.

Outdoor BBQ or Grilled Top Shells Party

The host will lend you the grill facilities with no charge. What you need to do is pick up some groceries, Jeju black pork, some sauces and charcoal. Upon your request, the host can also offer top-shells as a charged service. Grilled top-shells is one of Jeju delicacies.
