Where to Stay

Gotta get a comfy night's sleep before you take on that hike tomorrow!

Jejumaro B&B

Room Views
From the Host

I hope Jeju Maro is a place where the guests come with relaxation and go back with happy memories. The ‘Maro’ part of Jeju Maro is a condensed word for ‘Maumdaero’, which means ‘as your heart pleases’.

Should you go vintage or modern? Different styles for different moods

Hyeopjae Beach is where you can sink your toes into pure white sand and splash in clear coral waters. Day turns to evening with a breathtaking sunset. The wide beach, stretching 1km, extends to Geumneung Beach and attracts many visitors, especially around May, when the water begins to warm up.
Jeju Maro is located right beside the ocean, famous in Jeju for its beautiful water color. Along with the gorgeous ocean, Jeju Maro B&B is a place where couples and families can make precious memories.

The 5 rooms in Jeju Maro all have different interiors and themes, which might make for a hard time deciding which room you want to stay in. They also have very unique titles. The names of the guestrooms, which include Manager Jang, Chief Secretary Jung, Section Chief Baek, Section Head Jang, and Carpenter Kim, are all named after their interior designer. The rooms all portray the designers’ sense of pride.

Having studied timber housing in Australia for 7 years, the designer of ‘Manager Jang’ favored a bar or rock café style, appealing to the younger guests.

‘Chief Secretary Jung’ reveals its feminine vibe with its modern and clean-looking design. On the other side, ‘Section Chief Baek’ is also in competition with ‘Chief Secretary Jung’ with its combination of vintage and modern. Both rooms have foot baths by the window for the guests to enjoy some relaxation while looking out over the amazing ocean view and the small towns of Jeju.

‘Section Head Jang’, the family room which holds up to 6 people, has a spacious living room with a merbau collection tree instead of a couch, giving families a unique place to sit, encouraging conversation and quality time.
‘Carpenter Kim’ is also a large room, as it was originally built with the intention of the host’s family living there. The family originally came from Gwangju City and moved to Jeju to start a guesthouse, as their heart was with the ocean and they wanted to meet new people.

Unlike other guesthouses, all the guestrooms have a kitchen, cooking utensils, refrigerator, and a TV. Although the guestrooms at Jeju Maro are all independent, the value of gathering is considered important here. If the guests would like, a BBQ party can be arranged, and in the summer, the guests can enjoy an unlimited quantity of fruit and ice cream that the host keeps in the fridge at all times (for free!).
