Beautiful Nights at the Mokgwana (Jul. 6 to Sept. 7)

List

Jeju Mokgwana, which was the site of the highest administrative government in Jeju during the Joseon Dynasty, morphs into a joyous festival field every Saturday from July 6. The beautiful old historic government buildings standing in the summer light provide an indescribable ambiance.

As well as the night opening, Mokgwana also offers special performances including fusion style Korean classical music, dance, Korean classical music, and folk music every other Saturday from July 13.

During this night opening, the Mokgwana itself will be fully lit up, so even if you don't fancy any of the organized activities, it is still a great chance to take a walk in a place filled with Jeju history.

The night opening starts at 6 p.m. until Sept. 7, and admission is free.

About Jeju Mokgwana
The Jeju Mokgwana, located in old Jeju downtown, served as the spot for all things on political on Jeju from 1392 to 1910. Except for Gwandeokjeong, a tower located to the left side of Mokgwana, most of the buildings at Mogkwana were faithfully restored in 2002 to their original shapes after being damaged during the Japanese Colonial Rule.
